Sprang International was founded in 1987, and still strives for musical excellence. Our objective has always been to provide music for any occasion and for all kinds of people. That is why we continue to be #1 in the Caribbean and International community of the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Our Clientele includes:
The World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Embassies of Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica & St. Lucia. The Trinidad & Tobago's Association Of Washington DC, Air Jamaica, The Inner Caucus, and Positive Black Men's Coalition.
We are also involved with many of the student organizations in the Metropolitan Area such as:
Howard University, University of Maryland, American University, George Washington University and John Hopkins University, thereby showing our diversity as we perform for all age groups and cultures.
But what we have treasured over the years (besides the smiling faces after each performance) is performing alongside renowned artists such as in the Reggae genre: Born Jamericans, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Elephant Man, Luciano, Morgan Heritage, Sanchez, Sizzla, Shabba Ranks, Supercat and Tony Rebel to name a few. And in the Soca arena: Ajala, Allison Hinds, Bunji Garlin & Asylum, Denyse Belfon, Crazy, Destra & Atlantik, Anslem Douglas, General Grant, Iwer George, KMC, Krosfyah, Colin Lucas, Machel Montano and Xtatik, Maximus Dan, Ronnie McIntosh and Blue Ventures, David Rudder and Charlie's Roots, Rupee, Second Imij (now Imij & Co), Shadow, Superblue, Shurwayne Winchester & Traffik to name a few.
However, Sprang International is not content to just perform in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We have also performed on the East Coast from Miami to New York City. But our biggest stint to date outside of the DC area has to be the six months from November '94 to May '95 that the Manager/Owner of Sprang International Mr. Darren Solozano spent in his homeland of Trinidad. He landed a job at the #1 radio station WEFM 96.1 FM which is owned and managed by Tony Chow Lin On, aka Chinese Laundry. Since then we have gone from strength to strength to play at such major fetes as the Original Vale Breakfast Fete, Ignite, Lara, Insomnia & Girl Power.
The hard work has really reaped the rewards over the past 10 years. Acquiring gigs to provide road music for the major bands of T&T's Carnival: Poison (2002 - 2004) and now for the #1 mas band, TRIBE (2005 to present).
But Washington is home base and therefore we have branched out into other areas as well:
Musical Director of Black Entertainment Television's (BET) Caribbean Rhythms
Formed a promotional company: Last Minute Productions
Our goal is to entertain the masses all over the world and we believe we can do this once we stick to our motto:
Musical Excellence and All We Need Is Music !!!
